In the modern world, the healing modalities used in Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy are practiced in a manner which is complementary to Western medicine. As such, they should not be construed as a substitute for either a medical diagnosis or the services of a Western physician.
WHAT HAPPENS IN DURING A TYPICAL AYURVEDIC CONSULTATION?

Private Consultation
in Ayurvedic Medicine and Classical Yoga Therapy includes:
Pancha karma treatments are available.
The individual herbal formula prescribed by Dr. Buhrman is called in to the Ayurvedic pharmacist, who prepares it and mails it to the patient.
Consultations may be done by phone in areas where no Ayurvedic practitioner is available.
Initial session (one and one-half hours):
$125 plus $25 deposit for herbs.
Half hour follow up appointment $50 (approximately 3 weeks after the initial.)
Payments Accepted: Cash, Check, Post-Dated Checks
Ongoing follow-ups are spaced at monthly intervals until satisfactory results are obtained.
In the case of illnesses requiring ongoing management, 2 seasonal adjustments to the formula per year, are often adequate.
If you do not have a medical physician or a medical diagnosis at the time of your appointment,
you may be referred to a medical physician for further testing, should your Ayurvedic exam warrant it.
